Choosing your child’s instructional model
It is very important to register your choice Orange County Public Schools is offering a choice between learning done at home through the LaunchED program, traditional face-to-face learning, or Orange County Virtual School. Parents should visit
OCPS School Choice to learn more. Please note that if you choose Orange County Virtual School; you would be withdrawing from Clay Springs as OCVS is a separate school.
Please contact the school immediately if you have not registered a choice to assist us in our planning.
Registering
If your child attended Clay Springs for the 2019-20 school year; they are already registered for next school year. If your child will be attending Clay Springs for the first time this school year, you must register. You can complete the registration forms online and e-mail them to the school; or come in person to complete the registration form. The office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:00 PM.
School Supply Lists
Supply lists are available by clicking on Academics, then your student's grade level page.
Arrival and Dismissal Times
Classes begin at 8:45 AM. Students are asked to arrive between 8:15 and 8:35 AM.
Dismissal begins at 3:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is an early release day in Orange County; and dismissal begins at 2:00 PM.
Bus Transportation
Bus routes are not yet finalized. They will be available prior to school starting. Please know that if you are within 2 miles of the school building, bus transportation is not provided by OCPS.
Before & After School Care
Clay Springs will offer before and after school care for the 2020-21 school year. More information will be shared soon.
